Last Lock

[dmalbum path=”/wp-content/uploads/dm-albums/Last Lock/”/]On Friday,June 15 Al made a visit to the emergency room in Orillia. He had an allergic reaction which caused his eyes to swell shut and one hand. Thanks to prednisone he is doing better. Saturday,June 16 we spent the night at Lock #43 Swift Rapids. On Sunday,June 17 we reached Lock#44 the Big Chute. It is the famous maine railway which dates back to 1978. The park staff uses loud speakers to direct you into slings mounted on a railway car and then transported over land to the body of water on the other side.We went to a Father’s Day lunch at the Dam Grill with Don’s grade school friend Mike and his wife Peggy. On Monday morning we went throught the last lock on the Trent Severn. We are now on Georgian Bay.

Oh pooor Al, He didn’t look so good. What do Al get into? I hope he is feeling better. What an interesting time you both had this weekend. I can’t wait to hear your stories in person. Tina
