Sunday afternoon we went snorkeling to see the coral reefs and the statue of Christ of the Abyss.The next day the boys wen kayaking among the twisting water trail through the mangroves. We went to Robbies in Islamorada to feed the Tarpon. We celebrated Jeremy’s 18th and my 65th birthdays at the Pilot House Marina and Restaurant.The Guzmans left Thursday morning. On Friday we went to Sharkey’s for my birthday with our new boating friends. Gail and Jack. Gail and Jack are from Virginia and own the Mainship”Ocean Front Property” in the slip next to us.

Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
