[dmalbum path=”/wp-content/uploads/dm-albums/Good Bye Canada/”/]On Tuesday,June 19 we anchored for lunch and a swim in Frying Pan Harbor.That night we tied up a Henry’s and ate fish and chips.On Wednesday,June 21 we arrived in Parry Sound and tied up to the Town Dock where there were frequent flights of floatplanes in and out of Georgian Bay Airways. That night we watched Canada TV’S coverage of the S.S.Keewatin’s Journey Home. Friday night we achored in Killbear for a farewell dinner to our friends aboard “Snow Cat”. Thank you Don,Bernie and Kate for all the memories of food,Mexican Train and your friendship.On Saturday morning “Snow Cat” headed home to Tobomory and the “Harem” continued it’s journey to Killarney. On Sunday,we arrived in Gore Bay in the North Channel.It is our last stop in Canada. Next Stop Drummond Island in the good old USA.

Julie Brattset is the author of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". She was born in Chicago, IL. and now lives in Holland, Michigan with her husband, Al Brattset. She enjoys spending the summers on the boat with her family and friends.
Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
