Mom(Elaine)worked the restaurant dad(Barney)Played in the band and their sons Clay and Joe worked both the docks and restaurant. Monday,April 30,we arrived at Harbor Town Marina on Hilton Head Island.The resort is easily recognizable by the lighthouse. Hilton Head gets its name from Capt.William Hilton who identified a headland near the entrance to the sound which he named after himself “Hilton’s Head”. While on the island we had a surprise visit from Fink’s mom and dad (Carol and Ken) who were on a bus tour through Savanah,Charleston and Hilton Head.On to Charleston.

Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
