In St. Augustine we saw the Bridge of Lions named after Ponce de Leon(lion) and the Cathedral Basillica of St Augustine the oldes catholic church in the USA. The first mass was said on Sept 8,1565.Wednesday we arrived at the Fernandina Harbor Marina on Amelia Island. 2 French Navy schooners were in port for the weekend. The French were the first to arrive on Amelia Island. The L’Etoile and the La Belle Poule. We had margaritas and chips and salsa at Pablos. We spent our last day on Fernandina Beach and had lunch at Sandy Bottoms. We leave in the morning for Georgia.

Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
