[dmalbum path=”/wp-content/uploads/dm-albums/Caloosa Cove/”/]On Wednesday,February 8,we arrived at the Caloosa Cove Resort and Marina on Islamorada.The Caloosa indians were an important tribe in Southern Florida and the Keys.Tuesday,February 14,Valentines’s Day we celebrated with our friends from Holland,Michigan Ron and Diana Bachem and Diana’s brother Bob. We went to Lorelei Restauran and Cabana bar and sat on the bay for lunch. We leave on Friday morning for Key Largo.

Julie Brattset is the author of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". She was born in Chicago, IL. and now lives in Holland, Michigan with her husband, Al Brattset. She enjoys spending the summers on the boat with her family and friends.
Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
