I took the coutesy van to view the many sites of old historic downtown Charleston.St. Philips is an historic church and cemetary in the French Quarter of Charleston. Many signers of the constitution are buried there. I also toured the Charleston City Market.On Sunday,May 6 we arrived at Harbourgate Marina in Myrtle Beach,SC.Monday,May 7 was our first day in North Carolina. We spent the night in Joyner Marina.

Julie Brattset is the author of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". She was born in Chicago, IL. and now lives in Holland, Michigan with her husband, Al Brattset. She enjoys spending the summers on the boat with her family and friends.
Al Brattset is the illustrator of "They Call My Grandpa Captain". He began illustrating in 2012 after completing the "Great Loop". He wanted to share his love of boating with his grandchildren.
